This Z32 was an important car to me. I bought it from a good friend in the winter of 2005
and immediately had the timing belts and rollers redone. I didn’t really have to do much else
to it, other than to put fuel in it. I drove the Z off and on for the next year and a half before
I traded it in on the 2007 350Z I bought new. I had wanted a Z32 for a long time and his
one was one I was proud to call mine, if only for a little bit. I love the 350Z, but it’s hard to
put into words what it is like to drive a 300ZX around – looking out over that dash, the
way one sits down in it, the looks people give it – are really unique to those years of Z. If I
get the chance to own another, I’ll jump at it.
