This was the very first game Dema and I went to together. I bought tickets over the phone at nearly the last
minute and picked them up at will call after I got Dema from her apartment. I wanted the Camaro to look good
and I painted the roof black since the silver roof was faded. The parking lot attendant actually complimented me
on it and Dema was surprised and apologized for not noticing which I found pretty funny. It was boring game
and I remember not very much, except that I went with her and that was what was important. We have no
pictures of our own from that day, since there were no camera phones and we didn't have a digital camera.
Joaquin Benoit made a rare start and Mariano Rivera did what he did for the Yankees and shut it down for them.
